Some External Hard Drive Problems
Ok I think it's important to give an update to my problem here
I think my external hard drive is failing on me. How do I know? It's giving me a beeping sound from when I plug it in. I searched up the problem and seems like my hard drive is starting to fail on me, which is kinda bad.
How old is it?
Well I bought this while I was in college, and I graduated college in 2014. I don't remember exactly when I bought it, but I know it was over 10 years ago.
When did this problem started?
Today. Some hours ago. It was on my desk in its normal spot but some water got onto it. Didn't get drenched but it was on top of it. I was working afterwards but started to give that beeping problem soon after. Tried to restart my laptop and unplug and replug the cable to see if that would help. It helped a few times but now its just beeping for a few seconds til it stops. My laptop doesn't recognize it when its beeping.
How bad will this affect your art?
I think none so far but I have good news and bad news on that.
Good news is that I can normally work on my art without the hard drive
Bad news is that I cannot access my drive for any of my references and art that's stored on the drive, or any other stuff that's on my hard drive. Plus my list of people that have asked me for a commission when their turn is next x.x
So yeah, so far it sounds like I need to either figure out who can fix my hard drive nearby and think about getting myself a new hard drive to safety precautions, just to make sure if the current hard drive does gets fixed but on a short lifespan after that. I really do hope that I recover my files cause if I cannot, I can say goodbye to all of my art I've saved and gift art I've recieved x.x;
Commission Updates
So far I'm being slow on commission work as of late for 2 reasons, which one is kinda no reason while the other is more of a good reason x.x;
1. The less important reason: Animal Crossing New Horizons! DAMN!!! This game have me hooked so much since getting it x3x
Hopefully since I got Nook's Cranny now and it closes around 10PM, I can actually stop playing and get back to work with these commissions cause this is no excuse for me to be lacking x3x;;;
2. The more important reason: Lawn care have started up again for me. Normally I would wake up and get to work on commissions but now that I'm back to working on yards in my neighborhood (yes even through this Corona Virus pandemic) I still got to work to pay bills. Corona Virus isn't going to help with that ><
So far, I will continue to do commissions but at a slow pace now, so I greatly apologize for the 4 ppl who are currently awaiting for a commission from me and I also apologize on those who have asked me recently that are on my list. I will get my butt in gear and get to work when I can x3x

Streaming
The reason of being so quiet over the days is cause I was busy doing some house moving. Who's moving? My mom & I did, that's who! Along with a friend of my mom's XD
But yeah we officially moved to a new house. We've been living in the old house for about 30 years that my late grandmother was staying in for a long while. It was getting worse and worse as time passed, and even my grandmother wanted to move, but she couldn't due to some problems she had. We didn't really want to fix up the house cause it would cost us more money just to fix up the building problems that has been growing for over 30 years. But now since some updates for my mom was able to capitalize on, we finally done it, and it was long overdue~
How's the new house? LARGER (not that larger hehe) than what the previous house was. We went from a house that had only one bedroom, living room, kitchen, and 1 bathroom to a house that has a living room, dining room, 3 bedrooms, kitchen, and 1 bathroom. Oh and a larger backyard than what we had, so our dogs have more room to move around than before. Also we have all of our utilities up in the new house: water, lights, gas, garbage, and internet =3
Now that we are settled (still got some stuff to finish setting up though) I can get back to work on commissions, though I will be juggling art commissions with my lawn care service. Right now I have a big comic commission to work on currently so I will be abit slow on progress with that. As for those on my current list, I will be taking AT LEAST 1 at a time for now so I can go down the list quicker. If I have you on my list and you wish to commission more than 1 picture from me, don't worry, I can re-add you back to the commission list. I just need to work on one picture per commissioner at a time to be more convenient ^^
Also I do have 3 commission pics to upload that I haven't done yet, so I will get to that after posting this journal. Sorry for the inconvenience
